My skills with websites include being able to handle hosting, e-mail and domain services. I have a lot of experience using WordPress as a Content Management System. Other skills involve hand-coding xhtml and css for all websites I develop. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer! Feel free to contact me and check out artful.design. my blog.

Pure Light Chiropractic

Pure Light Chiropractic

Recently, Pure Light Chiropractic came to me to help design and develop a website. As a new company, they wanted to show to potential customers that Pure Light was a place of calm, understanding, and great chiropractic work. In order to achieve this goal, I created a website that is calming, natural and elegant. The subtle colors play off of the colors of the logo, and help to create an website that is inviting. Specialized functionality includes an event calendar, rotating images, and custom SEO work.

IdiotGenius

IdiotGenius

My friends at IdiotGenius came to me in 2010 to design and develop a specialized website that would sell some of the funkiest t-shirts you will ever see. The idea came from the fact that whenever I visit their place of work, I am always struck by the organized chaos that I see. There are different articles of paper and cloth pasted all over the walls, and I thought this would translate well into a sophisticated design. After a couple rounds of designs, I built this website using WordPress as base to be customized for them. Please visit IdiotGenius to check it out live.

Outback Outdoors

Outback Outdoors

This concept, created in 2009 for Outback Outdoors, is a website design that reflects what the client does: hunt in the wilderness. I tried to use common colors you would find while hunting - burnt oranges, grays, blacks and browns all thrown together. In some sections, especially the top area, I used the concept of camouflage to create areas of concerted disorganization. To me, camouflage is so very obvious and chaotic when viewed by itself, but when viewed within the situation in which it is intended, it blends and conceals. The entire website design (not chosen by client) was created mainly using custom brushes, rounded shapes and time in Photoshop, creating what I hope is a memorable and user friendly design.

Brinkers

Brinkers

Brinker's Interior Design came to Red Rocket because they needed a face-lift on their website. One of the main things they wanted to prove was that they were better than your local Big Box store because of the attention and little extras you get that sets them apart. I wanted it to also be easy to understand and very well designed itself; I treated it as if I were designing a room, with complimentary color schemes and everything. The Logo that you see in the gallery is also my design, and is an imitation of the carpet samples that you would receive. I offered it, but they stuck with their old logo, which you can see at their website.

3zero7

3zero7

This website, created in 2009 for 3zero7, is a website that sells cutting edge clothing with a Wyoming influence. While the website design is completed, the development is currently on a halt. I will update as soon as this goes live! Look forward to it!

ARC of Larimer County

ARC of Larimer County

2008 website design for the ARC of Larimer County. The idea I had for their website was that it needed to be very calming and clean and introduce a sense of welcoming; so in the end I tried to lay it out like an elaborate picnic. I also had a hand in creating a logo for them to use to separate themselves from the other ARC branches. The logo, I feel, builds off of their old logo in a way that brings it into the current age.
