Separate yourself from the crowd

My skills with identity include creating logos, business cards, letterhead, envelopes, posters, and more. I find creating items for the identity of a company is always a great way to explore my own personal brand of design. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer! If you enjoy what you see, please feel free to contact me and please also check out artful.design.

Man on the Go

Man on the Go

This logo design, done for Man on the Go, a website for people to blog for people who are constantly about the world. I went for a very controlled and friendly logo that bespoke of airports and the signs there. The color scheme lends itself to be used not only in websites, but also very easily translated to shirt or newspaper or any limited color process that might be needed. As such, I created two complimentary logos and a black and white one.

TruDelight Logo

TruDelight Logo

These logo concepts, created in 2009 for client TruDelight, shows my idea of purity. The logos themselves, created in Illustrator, show a contrast of earth and water, clarity and solid ideas. The water that TruDelight creates is free of many chemicals and has been shown to be "tasteless" to people who normally would have a metallic taste in their mouth when drinking water due to Chemotherapy. I wanted to show something that had a solid base, but was flowing and free.

Red Rocket Card Template

Red Rocket Card Template

2009 card illustration and design for Red Rocket Media Group. Part of me being a contractor for Red Rocket, especially in the beginning, was greeting the cat Riley and the boss every morning as I entered work. As such, I thought it would be very telling of the sort of fun and electricity that not just the name "Red Rocket" brings but of the people (and cat) that work there. The card was done by taking a drawing that I created and using the crispness of vector to try and get a very cartoonish feel. I think it went well, and I especially like the extra piece on the back!

Water Colorado Business Card

Water Colorado Business Card

2009 Business card design for Water COlorado. I really liked how their logo plays off of the leather background. The simple reversing of brown on white for the center space, I think, really helps it to pop from the page.

FlashPoint Business Cards

FlashPoint Business Cards

FlashPoint business cards created in 2009. These cards are based very loosely off of the original business cards, but I made sure to make it so that the business card was almost a reflection with the "flash" area, along with allowing enough room for all the information.

Okole Maluna

Okole Maluna

2008 - 8 1/2" x 11" Mail-out This mail-out, done for Okole Maluna, shows the value that good photography can have to make for good design. I figured this needed to grab attention and did my best to help make sure it wouldn't be put down. The colors are very calming and "hawaiian" and are pulled straight from the website to make sure to have consistancy of brand.

Valpak Ads for Rocky Mountain Resorts

Valpak Ads for Rocky Mountain Resorts

Done in 2008, these ads were done to help get people up to Estes Park. The idea on the first one (which was picked) is that you need to have something that really stands out from the rest of the fliers. You have to get their attention right away. I really think I was able to get that effect. The second one has the concept that people that are going up to the resort are people who are trading in their office suit for their snow suit. While it didn't win of the two, I like the way that it splits the frame.
